A while back I had the opportunity to design a stained glass window for the Mass Transit Authority’s Downtown Transportation Center in Flint, MI.  The window represents Hispanic Americans.  Today I got an opportunity to see sections of the window before they are delivered to Flint.  Pat Deere of Pictures in Glass (pictured here) was the glass artist who constructed the window.  I was so happy to see the window sections in her studio today.  She put a lot of time and effort in this project and it shows. She did an incredible job.  It was an honor and a pleasure to collaborate with her on this project.  The unveiling of the artwork takes place Sunday, October 16th.
